Democratic Rights

Our Vision

Individual Freedoms were always one of the most desired and valuable rights of every society. Without individual rights or natural rights, a society will be collapsed into the tyranny of individuals which ultimately resulted in the degradation of advancement that we have already acquired over years of struggle. Indian constitution is one of the well-drafted constitutions in the contemporary polity.

Individual rights are percolated from part III of the Indian Constitution. The rights enshrined in part III are the inalienable rights which make every individual in the country equal before the law and no one above the law.

No system is foolproof and every system has its own flaws. Despite such limitations as a society, we need to reconstruct and reshape its structure over time through the equal participation of every single individual in the country. Democratic rights/Constitutional rights ensure such participation in a modern republic.

Constitutional courts are the guardians of the constitution against any kind of tampering. Indian courts always upheld civil liberties when such rights were under the threat of third parties. The idea of constitutional morality is the one of guiding principles of Indian Constitutional courts to protect the idea of democracy which was gifted by our constitutional makers.

NNF Nyay Neeti Foundation will always be on the front to protect the idea of democracy and individual freedoms ensured under the constitution through litigation as well as constitutional education.
